My cousin said "the curtain is moving, and the windows are closed... maybe there's a ghost there." She got scared and sat down, while I was walking around the house all brave. Then it said something to us: "believe her." I said, believe who? It didn't say anything more. “So I went to the Joliet prison and the tour people told us to get this app, so I downloaded it. While we were by the chapel I saw an opening in a blocked-off gate, so me, my mom, dad, and cousin went in. The thing started going off the scale! I was so creeped out. I was looking around and I saw caution moving in mid-air, twirling, and I was SCARED, and the app said “it is here” so I ran out of there. “I just downloaded this app last night and let me tell you… it's crazy. I was with my aunt at her house when we decided to download this app. The first word said "death." And the place we were at did have three deaths. We decided to go further. We were outside and then it went bright red. It started blurting out words faster than we could read. There is a haunted hotel not even a block away from where we were. So we went there and sat outside to see if we could pick anything up, and we did. It said "outside" when we were outside, then it said "in." I replied asking, "who are we talking to, can you give us a name?" Then it said "Nathan?" We hadn't heard of a Nathan at that hotel, but I guess we will have to find out. Before we left, we wanted to walk through the lobby to look at the historic stuff. We kept the app on and it said "disturb" — at that point my aunt and I said we're gonna get out soon. Then this was the scariest of all… it said "possession." We took its word and left, praying to God to protect us. If you ever talk to spirits, you need to put your foot down and make boundaries: tell them, "We came here to talk. I do not give you permission to touch me or follow me home. You WILL stay here and not attach to me, because I will not allow you to." Always make it clear beforehand.”

It does spit out random words occasionally, but going to a house where someone died recently, the first word — without asking any questions — was the daughter's name of the person who died, who was present in the room at the time. “I have a gift, or curse, since age 8. I'm a nurse, 30 years now — though people tell me I look 30, so it's hard to believe I've been a nurse that long, lol. I've always had a connection I didn't ask for, even before trying this app out, hesitantly. I do a private case on Mondays at a home where a murder took place; there's a lot of paranormal activity there. I used it in the home just today. Four names and many words came through. The mom in the home also has the gift. I knew nothing about the family beyond the residents of the house. The app gave four names, two of which — when I asked the mom — turned out to be her father and her grandmother's ex-boyfriend. I was amazed. After the name Walter came through, her father's name, the app then gave the words "honor you," meaning honoring my work. I always say thank you at the start and end, but also — very important — set clear and precise boundaries. One that came through at the house said, "answer me." The whole band turned deep orange and red. This is not just for entertainment. Also came through: "fear them."”
