The Word Was Maggot
“Visiting rural Virginia. Brought to an old graveyard. Got lots of words, but 2 things stuck out. Got the word "maggot." The next day, returned to the same spot, and not 3 feet from where I had been the night before was a dead bird bloated with maggots. Second: as I was leaving I had a scratch on my ear, and as I scratched it, the word "scratch" appeared. I'm a skeptic and remain so. But this is intriguing.”
