The ghost knew about the shoes
“So I was testing it out because I was searching for an app like this. Me and my brother tried it, and I went in my room and talked to it. We asked the ghost what I was missing, and it said 'shoes' — and I actually wasn't wearing shoes. I was calm on the outside so it didn't know I was scared. Weirdly, when I got the app, my sister said she saw something in the guest room vent. So yeah, if you don't believe in ghosts I would recommend this app, but be aware — if you don't know how to handle these things, it may go south very quickly.”
